SVP, Global E-Commerce

Major Responsibilities

  • Set e-business strategy and manage direction for Natixis Global Asset Management and Global Associates, including websites and intranets.
  • Utilize all web related resources to ensure a universal, cohesive strategy including consistency of message, design, appropriate leverage of technology, sharing of content.
  • Translate high level plans into business strategy; oversee execution of tactical plans.
  • Responsible for online brand exposure of all sites.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments worldwide.
  • Develop strategies to drive business through technology; create an effective e-business sales strategy.
  • Align with counterparts at firm level (Merrill, UBS, PacLife) to understand their strategy, technology & tools; tailor support to each distributor's unique business objectives, compliance policies and technical constraints.
  • Manage global team.

Experience/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 – 15 years of e-business experience with a minimum of eight years e-business/marketing experience in the financial services industry;
  • Must have strong aptitude for both technology and the investment marketplace
  • Ability to develop, clearly articulate and execute business strategy
  • Ability to effectively build partnerships with internal and external business partners
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to set clear direction and motivate a team
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Self-directed and motivated

Experience/Skills Preferred

  • Global experience a plus

Web Marketing Manager, E-Commerce

Overall Summary

Work with other members of the global e-business team to grow and manage our online presence by implementing major enhancements and technical changes to the firm's various websites and interactive tools. Interface with internal and external contacts to assist in the development and update process.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage launch of microsites and full-scale websites.
  • Define the information (content) architecture of new sites and/or ones slated for restructuring.
  • Partner with in-house design team to create user interface (GUI) and Flash promotions for websites.
  • Manage fund launches & product promotions online.
  • Analyze complex business issues and devise effective online solutions.
  • Manage both internal and vendor relationships to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Outline and oversee enhancements to existing sites.
  • Measure effectiveness of online campaigns.

Front-end development

  • Create and/or update HTML pages – including complex tables, forms & graphics.
  • Create, edit and optimize graphics for web pages and e-mail templates using PhotoShop.
  • Create and manipulate PDF files using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Account for browser and platform variations.

Content ownership

  • Maintain select content areas within websites.

General

  • Ensure that clean code is used throughout sites.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of site content by the Compliance department.
  • QC work prior to circulating for review and/or uploading to production.
  • Participate in QA of all new/enhanced e-business applications.

Experience/Skills Required

  • 5+ years of professional e-business experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the following:
    • Load, no-load or offshore mutual funds
    • Separate accounts
    • FA, RIA, bank trust, DC, subadvised or institutional consultant channels
  • Must have hands-on experience with and demonstrate a clear grasp of HTML and CSS
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with development tools – including Dreamweaver, Adobe's PhotoShop and Acrobat
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential
  • Must possess excellent problem solving skills, good judgment, ability to take initiative and be detail-oriented
  • Must demonstrate a clear grasp of how to leverage the Web as a communication medium
  • Must be familiar with cross browser & cross platform inconsistencies and account for these

Experience/Skills Preferred

  • Series 6 license preferred
  • Multilingual skills a plus
  • Experience with a content management system (CMS) ideal
