Managing Regional Director, Independent Channel
Overall Summary
Cultivate and service relationships with key advisors with the purpose of positioning and/or cross selling Natixis products and services in the Independent Channel.
Major Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain professional sales relationships with financial advisors at National Independent firms.
- Represent all Natixis strategies in multiple lines of business including Separate accounts, no load and load mutual funds, and institutional full fee accounts in National Independent firms.
- Meet/exceed territory sales.
- Develop and execute a team business plan that incorporates team members and other Natixis resources.
Experience/Skills Required
- Highly Skilled communicator/presenter of market/portfolio information
- Ability to build and service long-term, quality relationships with a broad range of advisors
- Must be able to clearly articulate a portfolio's investment discipline and process to a range of clients
- Thorough knowledge of domestic and international markets, with the ability to speak to current trends, themes, or commentary
- Territory/business/time/budget management skills a must
- Ability to develop and communicate a business plan to team members for the purpose of achieving sales goals
- Effective use of business analytics to prioritize territory coverage
- Thorough understanding of National Independent firm platforms and goals
Experience/Skills Preferred
- 5 years of successful sales experience (external experience required)
- Experience in selling multiple lines of business – Separate Accounts, funds, etc.
- Advanced industry related designations
- Experienced presenter
- Proven networking skills
- Work on team or in team based environment
- Consultative sales approach
- Knowledge of and relationships with National Independent firms preferred

Investment Consultant, Independent Channel
Overall Summary
Reporting to the Sales Manager, National Sales, the Investment Consultant (IC) is responsible for a variety of tasks that include both internal and external sales.
Major Responsibilities
- Work with Managing Regional Director and Regional Director to formulate and execute territory business plan.
- Cultivate relationships with financial representatives via phone contact.
- Initiate outbound marketing phone calls to broker dealer community to market and sell firm products; convey sales ideas; provide product information; and gather marketing data.
- Consult with brokers to understand needs and cross sell products as appropriate.
- Utilize extensive industry knowledge and experience to achieve and surpass established sales goals within the territory.
- Provide service to brokers including hypothetical reports and research as needed.
- Travel within territory (minimum of 2 times/year).
Experience/Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Series 6 license
- 2 years of prior financial services experience
- Knowledge of financial marketplace
- Team oriented, ability to effectively manage time, strong communication skills
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work extended hours if necessary (sales meetings)
Experience/Skills Preferred
- Prior experience working with the broker dealer community
- Prior sales experience

Regional Director, Wealth Solutions
Overall Summary
The Regional Director will provide regional sales coverage, cultivating and maintaining relationships with our RIA, defined contribution and sub-advisory clients and prospects. RD activities will include travel, phone work, prospecting, marketing support, sales support, and service of existing relationships.
Major Responsibilities
RIA Sales
- Identify Prospect Firms within territory and investment decision-makers within those firms.
- Profile firm structure and organization with an emphasis on portfolio construction and maintenance.
- Provide service with respect to existing NGA strategies employed with an emphasis on cross-selling additional NGA strategies.
- Understand and cultivate relationships at major custody platforms.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Vice-President to implement most efficient coverage model.
- Promote Active Investment Advisors and other focused Natixis strategies at industry conferences and working groups to gain new prospects; actively promoting guest speakers and coordinating events.
- Work with Portfolio Metrics and Investment Services Groups to best utilize their service to gather assets.
Defined Contribution
- Work with Defined Contribution wholesalers, inside sales, relationship managers and client management to promote our funds on DC platforms.
- Cover selected gatekeepers to expand and enhance Natixis and affiliate products placement within platforms.
- Provide marketing support, sales ideas, competitive information, and analytics to key sales people at partner firms.
- Work with DC team members to assist service requirements and ad hoc requests.
- Prospect marketplace and selectively add platform contacts, with a focus on broker sold platforms.
- Work with a select group of advisors who have the ability to drive assets.
- Cover TPA firms who trade through national platforms, notably Fidelity and Schwab.
Sub-advisory Sales
- Cover wholesalers working with Sub-advisory partners to promote affiliate products.
- Provide support with sales events, share leads, deliver Business Builders, and add value through partnership.
- Work with inside sales groups to keep educated on capabilities and provide to them the tools needed to properly position our investments.
- Interact with all assigned sales people on a regular basis to provide commentary, sales ideas and updates.
Miscellaneous
- Attend conferences, vendor events and industry meetings as needed.
- Project management related to business lines.
- Work with marketing to produce effective support materials.
- Work with National Sales and support Natixis field force to help drive sales through defined contribution and sub-advisory business lines.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Series 7 and 63 NASD license
- 3-5 years of prior investment sales experience
- Extensive knowledge of financial marketplace
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
- Ability to demonstrate positive sales results from prior efforts
- Team oriented
- Effective time management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with territory management
- Independent worker
