Institutional RFP Writer
Overall Summary
Reporting to the SVP, COO Institutional Services, the position is responsible for writing and editing institutional RFPs, RFIs, and other questionnaires. The position is required to have a comprehensive knowledge of the institutional sales channel (e.g. consultants, public and private pension market, endowments, Taft-Hartley Plans, etc) and maintain competitor and current industry knowledge by attending relevant industry conferences, etc.
Major Responsibilities
- Answer and edit RFP's, RFI's and Due Diligence Questionnaires for institutional clients and prospects
- Establish strong knowledge of Natixis affiliated investment managers and establish effective working relationships with key associates from each firm
- Compile and maintain a library of standard/generic RFPs and overall content for all investment affiliate expertise/disciplines (fixed income, equity, alternative strategies)
- Responsible for completing, maintaining, and updating consultant databases (unsure if needed).
- Work with subject matter experts to create customized RFP's and presentations
- Identify resource and technology leverage, standardized reporting/metrics (e.g. volumes, win/loss ratios, most relevant, best-positioned disciplines, etc.), cross-training opportunities, etc.
- Periodic assessments of workflows, policies, and technology and make recommendations/implement best practices
- Respond to ad hoc requests for a broad range of content, data and customized information
Experience/Skills required
- BA/BS college degree; MBA, CFA or progress towards one of the two is a definite plus
- 2-4 years of institutional financial services RFP/ RFI writing/editing skills
- Knowledge of fundamental investment and institutional portfolio concepts
- Strong quantitative analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills; must have the ability to work with professionals at all levels of the firm and across business units

Portfolio Data Analyst
Overall Summary
The Portfolio Data Analyst will assist in the research and analysis for separately managed wrap product lines.
Major Responsibilities
- Quarterly SMA due diligence
- Deliver timely, complete, and accurate due diligence materials on our investment disciplines to research groups at the SMA wrap platforms
- Work with investment affiliates to collect necessary firm level and portfolio level data
- Respond to inquiries from platform research personnel related to a wide variety of investment strategy data
- Quarterly marketing material data delivery
- Provide timely and accurate data for inclusion in wide array of marketing materials, web-based proposal tools, and corporate websites
- Interface with Marketing in delivery and proofing of data used in collateral
- On-going automation project
- Maintain and build new templates for automated data delivery to Marketing and eCommerce
- Identify new opportunities where technology can increase efficiency with which data is delivered
- Deliver time sensitive marketing and investment strategy data to Portfolio Analyst group for use in explaining investment performance, sales training, client support, creation of sales ideas, and product positioning
Experience/Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of financial services experience
- Motivated self-starter
- Very organized and detail oriented
Experience/Skills Preferred
- Familiarity with FactSet and/or Ibbotson a plus
- Experience with SMA wrap business
